DALLAS (Aug. 1, 2008) - Last night at the Dallas Bar Association's Belo Mansion , Ken Molberg, a Founders Board Member for the proposed University of North Texas Law School in downtown Dallas, joined with other Founders Board members and community leaders in a show of support for the project.
Forum panelists, including Sen. Royce West, Rep. Rafael Anchia and UNT Chancellor Lee Jackson, discussed the benefits of bringing a public law school to the Dallas area, which is currently the largest metropolitan area in the United States without one.
"I have been a part of this project from the outset because we need to nurture young minds and provide more affordable options in legal education to people from this area," Molberg said. "For far too long we have been losing talented individuals to other parts of the state and country. A public law school based in downtown Dallas will stem that unfortunate outflow," he added.
