DALLAS (Sept. 22, 2014) - Judge Ken Molberg served as a panelist last week at an event sponsored by the Dallas Bar Association, commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

The program featured a look back on the enforcement of the Act in Dallas history. Judge Molberg participated on the employment law panel with attorney Edward B. Cloutman III, Dr. Neil Cogan of Whittier Law School, attorney Allen Butler, and Professor Maureen Armour of Southern Methodist University.

"Dr. Cogan, Mr. Cloutman and I recounted various cases that were significant in Dallas civil rights history in which we were the lead attorneys," said Judge Molberg. "This was an excellent event and a reminder of how important the Civil Rights Act has been for progress and justice in this county."

Other panelists for the day included attorney Betsy Julian and former Fifth District Court of Appeals Justice Kevin Wiggins.
